In a bid to improve this popular video sharing and social media platform, YouTube product team is constantly testing new features and experiments (that are sometimes called betas).
These test features are available to few users for a short span of time. So, if you are viewing something unusual on YouTube (in the sense of unbuggy), then you might be seeing a beta feature.
Yesterday, YouTube added one more feature as part of its ongoing experiments.
The feature allows users to find out the interesting part of the video.
As I said above, beta features are available to few users and if you are one of them then you will see a graph above the red progress bar in the video. In the video part where the graph is high shows that part has been re-watched often. That’s how YouTube finds out the interesting part of the video.
The feature to find out the interesting part of a YouTube video has been added to YouTube experiments yesterday.
