As I already mentioned in the title, now Jio Prepaid Sim cards can be recharged via different ATMs across India.

Presently, The ATMs of 9 banks across India gives user the facility to recharge their Jio Prepaid SIM Card. The name of these 9 banks are listed below.

- Axis Bank
- ICICI Bank
- HDFC Bank
- IDBI Bank
- Citi Bank
- DCB Bank
- AUF Bank
- Standard Chartered Bank

Well, In India, if we count the total number of ATMs of the banks mentioned above, that is more than 90,000.
Now, Out of these 90,000 ATMs, SBI has the highest ATM network having over 50,000 ATMs across the country. ICICI comes at second having over 15,589 ATMs. Similarily, HDFC has over 14,533 ATMs and Axis Bank has over 11,800 ATMs.
How to recharge Jio Prepaid SIM cards at ATMs across India?
Below are the steps which you can follow to recharge your Jio Prepaid SIM Cards at ATMs across India.
Step 1: Insert your ATM card in the Machine
Step 2: Choose Recharge option from the menu
Step 3: Enter your mobile number (the number for which you want to recharge). For example, 81048 XXXXX
Step 4: Enter your ATM pin code
Step 5: Enter the recharge amount (Example: Rs. 199 for Smartphone, Rs. 125 for Jio Phone)
Step 6: Confirm (Press ENTER)
Step 7: On your screen, the recharge message will be displayed. The corresponding amount will be debited from your account.
Step 8: You will receive the recharge message from Jio
Why Reliance has brought this unique way of recharging Jio SIM Cards?
In India, still, a huge community of users recharging their SIM cards via local retailers and shopkeepers and don’t know how to recharge their SIM cards digitally.
Now, if you see the current situtation of our country, it is in lockdown mode till April 14. So, Reliance has brought this new way of recharging Jio SIM cards to those users who don’t know how to recharge a prepaid SIM card digitally but do know how to operate ATM.
