In a bid to give the user the most easy way to recharge their Prepaid Mobile SIM Card, Google today rolls out a facility in Google search. Actually, the facility is a snippet which is now accessible when queried for some common recharge terms like prepaid mobile recharge, sim recharge and so on. In this snippet like as I show you in the screenshot below, All you have to do is feed your mobile number, operator and circle and you are all set to recharge your prepaid mobile sim connection.

Once you feed and select these three details as I mentioned above, the snippet reveals all the recharge plans available in your chosen circle for the respective operator. Now, after selecting your desired recharge plan, the snippet provide your different providers which you can choose as your checkout method. That’s the most unique and important thing I find out if I select this way to recharging my prepaid mobile sim. Well, that’s because I able to see different cashback options provided by different recharge providers at one spot.

Right now, PayTm, Freecharge, Google Pay and Mobikwik are the ones you find as the recharge providers in the snippet, however, I think google integrate more mobile payment provider in coming days.

Why it is important to bring Mobile Recharge Snippet right on Google Search?

In a blog post published today, Google reveal, In India there are around 1.1 billion users using cellular connection out of which 95% of them are using prepaid mobile sim cards. Well, this data is seriously huge. Now, Looking at the different recharge method available there isn’t any method available where you could compare the cashback provided by different mobile recharge service providers while recharging our prepaid mobile sim cards.

How to access Prepaid Mobile SIM Card Recharge snippet on Google Search?

As I mentioned above, one can access the snippet directly by querying prepaid mobile recharge or sim recharge on the google search. However, the snippet will prompt only on Android for signed-in users and for now, the snippet prompts different recharge plans only for Airtel, Jio, Vodafone-Idea, and BSNL prepaid users across India. Also, the snippet is accessible right now only when you choose Google Search in English.
