WhatsApp Reduces the Video Status Duration Limit to 15 Seconds in India

Amid worldwide lockdown, When everyone is crazy out there finding a way to crack their boredom, WhatsApp has reduced the video status duration to 15 seconds in India. As per a tweet shared by WABetaInfo (a massive fan of the Instant Messaging App “WhatsApp”), this new change is only reflected right now for Indians, and maybe in the coming days, other countries also fetch the same change.

In the same tweet, WABetaInfo guys says, Probably WhatsApp brought this change to overcome with the load on their server that right now happens because most of us are locked down in our home. Hence, we could also assert that maybe this new change comes for a while and will be withdrawn when the lockdown period completes. In India, the countrywide lockdown period completes on April 14. Hence, for proving the above assertion correctly, we have to wait for some days.

Well, considering the same layout, Recently, YouTube, Facebook, Netflix, and other popular video streaming services have also reduced their Video streaming quality. The reason is same, reducing overload on their servers that prompts because of the high usage of their services by homebodies.
