Apple Music for Web is now live and out of Beta

Last September, Apple introduced the Apple Music for Web, but, back then the service was in Beta. Now, the company has rollout the same service out of beta and one can access it live on music.apple.com. However, users who know the beta site that was accessible on beta.music.apple.com, the same site also now redirecting to music.apple.com.

Why Apple Launches App Music for Web?

Although there is a native app of Apple Music already available for iOS, Mac, and Android Platform, the same is not available for other platforms such as Windows, Linux and Chrome OS. For example, Till now Windows users able to listen to Apple Music via iTunes. Linux users on the other hand able to access the same service via Wine (A Program to add compatability layer to run Windows Programs on Linux). Hence, to give these operating systems the native experience of Apple Music, Apple lauches the Apple Music for Web. So, now, any platform running a browser able to access Apple Music without depending on a third party app.

How to Listen Apple Music Content?

Apple says right now they have around 60 million songs available on their Apple Music server. However, to listen to these songs a user have to take Apple Music Subscription. Now, Talking about the Subscription, the company reduced the subscription cost last year. However, if you are a new user then, you can try the service free for 3 months, thereafter the company charges Rs. 99 per month (The rate for Apple Music Individual Subscription).
