Snapchat now supports a total of 9 Indian Languages

After losing millions of users in the US market, It seems like Snapchat is now concerned about making more friends in India. That’s because Snapchat has integrated 5 more Indian Languages in their platform, earlier the count was merely 4.

To prioritize India, Last year, Snapchat recruits their first Indian Employee named Durgesh Kaushik and also opened their first office in Mumbai, India.

To boost gain their popularity in India, Snapchat also partners with different Indian companies like T-Series, NDTV, WWM Times, and Reliance Jio.

Now, to make their app more accessible at the local level, Snapchat integrates more Indian languages in their app. Last April, they added four Indian languages named Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, and Punjabi and now have added support for five more Indian languages called Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu.

If you ask my opinion, Snapchat is a little late to attend the attention of Indian users because, in the meantime, the company has made stronger rivals in India, such as Tiktok and Instagram.
