First, BSNL, then Airtel and now India’s largest mobile carrier company Jio has launched Voice over WiFi service. Although this service is not available in all circles in India, at present, it is available in select circles. According to some reports, users of Delhi NCR and Chennai can access the Jio Voice Over WiFi service.
Last month, Airtel launched VoWifi in Delhi NCR Circle but later rolled out the service to 5 more regions named Mumbai, Kolkata, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamil Naidu circles.
If we compare Jio VoWiFi service with Airtel VoWiFi service, then Airtel VoWiFi service currently only works with Airtel XStream broadband connection, but users can access Jio VoWiFi in any WiFi network. Apart from this, if we compare Jio’s VoWiFi service with BSNL’s VoWiFi service, then we have to download a separate app to access BSNL’s VoWiFi service. But we can access Jio’s VoWiFi service with the inbuilt WiFi calling feature of the phone. So to use Jio’s VoWiFi service, your phone must have WiFi calling feature. Apart from this, your phone brand supports Jio’s WiFi calling facility.

At the moment, only a few select smartphones from Samsung and Apple support Jio’s VoWiFi service. Currently, in compare to Jio, More smartphones supported Airtel VoWiFi service.
So if you have all these things mentioned above, then you can enjoy Jio’s VoWiFi service.
