After calling the above number, listen carefully to what the executive says. After that, choose the option “Lost Phone”.
Enter another contact number and the number you lose.
Then, select the option called log out of all devices. This option will log you out from your Paytm account from all the devices.
After logging out of all the devices, visit the Paytm official website and click on 24×7 help > Report Fraud.
Now, you have to verify your account ownership with Paytm. You can do it by showing your credit or debit card statement (having Paytm transactions). Or you can show a mail or SMS confirming a Paytm transaction.
After this, Paytm will block your account and send you a confirmation message on the new number given.
How to block your Google Pay account if you lose your Phone?
Similar to Paytm, Google Pay also has a helpline number – 18004190157.
Call on the above number and select the option other issues.
Then a specialist will talk to you and help you out, blocking your Google Pay account from the Phone you lost.
