You can now pause and resume a voice message while recording it in WhatsApp for iOS.
The new version 22.2.75 has come up with this feature.
Since last October, WhatsApp is testing this feature for iOS devices and now finally is rolling it out.
WhatsApp is also testing this feature for Desktop as WABetaInfo spotted it on WhatsApp for Desktop version 2.2201.2.
In addition to bringing the feature to pause and resume voice messages while recording it, WhatsApp has brought two more features for iOS.
The first one is Focus Mode.
WhatsApp now allows you to get notifications from select users even if the focus mode is turned on in your iOS device.
The other feature is giving users the facility to see the profile photo of a user when their message appears in the notification. Android users are already enjoying this facility but iOS users are getting it now.
So, these are the three features WhatsApp is bringing for iOS devices.
WhatsApp says, all these three features are coming in a few weeks.
In the meanwhile, WhatsApp is also testing message reactions feature.
With message reactions, users can react to messages with emojis. Just like users reacting with different emojis on a Facebook post.
