Indian giant e-commerce company Flipkart opens its first Furniture Experience Center in Bangalore. This offline centre spread across 1800 sq ft and have more than 80,000 furniture products.
To digitize this offline centre, Flipkart partners with Google. When you visit the Flipkart Furniture Experience centre, you can access the catalog of any furniture via Google Lens App. All you have to do is scan the furniture icon and the app leads you to the product catalog page.
Right now, Flipkart looks forward to opening two more Furniture experience centre in Bangalore before moving to other Indian cities.
A report from researchandmarkets.com says, by the year 2023 the worth of furniture market in India become $27 billion. Seems like an active move by Flipkart to grab the Indian furniture market in early phase.
Two years ago, Flipkart started selling furniture via Flipkart.com. Now it become the largest online furniture seller in the country.
In this niche, some of the famous competitors of Flipkart includes Amazon, Urban Ladder, and Pepperfry.
Some of the popular cities that contribute to the growth of Flipkart Furniture business in India include Bhubaneswar, Vadodara, Kanpur, Gaya, Muzaffarpur, and Agartala. So, we expect these are cities where we see Flipkart next furniture experience centres in coming days.
