Facebook is Going to Remove the Trending Section soon. 4 Years ago Facebook introduced this section in the Users Home Feed. However, Officials from the blue company explains this feature isn’t getting popular as we think so. Therefore, we are going to remove this feature.

Moreover, the officials from the Blue company says they are in fact replacing the old section with a new label section i.e. Breaking News. The officials say in this new Breaking News section, Publishers can add their stories. Moreover, this section will prove to be useful for Local publishers.
In fact, a research report by Pew (i.e. a research firm) says that 44% of US Adults read news from Facebook.
Seems like Facebook is competing with Google News. What do you think so? In our opinion, the Blue company is far behind the Big G.
