Bytedance Launches Music Streaming App Resso

We all know Bytedance as the parent company of the widespread short video making app Tiktok. However, our perception may change in the future. That’s because Today, Bytedance has launched a music streaming app called Resso in Two markets globally, i.e., India and Indonesia.

It is available on both the App Store and Google Play, but right now it is in Beta.

Well, the app was launched 6 months ago, however, not available to everyone, as per a Gadget 360 report.

Now, talking about this brand new music app, like Tiktok, it is free but also sports a paid subscription. In India, Its monthly premium subscription costs your Rs. 119 and gives you access to some of its premium features like the ad-free environment, download music for offline playback, high-quality audio formats, and so on.

Comparing the app with its rival, it is a little more different. For example, Resso shows you the Real-Time lyrics of a song while you play it, the other one is the comment feature that is available on every song. The comment feature let users express their opinion and concern about a song.

However, the feature I like the most is creating Vibes. In Resso, Vibes are short Clips and GIFs present in the cover (album art) of a song. The exciting thing is that a user can create a vibe while playing music in Background. Other users can like a Vibe, and the most liked Vibe automatically going to appear in the album art of the song.

Right now, one can try all the premium features of the Resso app for 14 days for free as a trial option is available. Also, One can sign up for the app via Two options available, i.e., via the Google Account or the Facebook account.
