This year in July, Netflix releases Rs. 199 plan exclusively for Indians, and now reports are coming that Netflix is giving more discounts to Subscribers living in India.
A report from Variety explains Netflix giving 20%, 30%, and 50% discount to their new Indian subscribers who subscribe for 3, 6, and 12 months, respectively. They get the discount while signing up for the plan.
In India, Right now, Netflix offers Mobile, Basic, Standard, and Premium Plans. The price of these plans are Rs. 199, Rs. 499, Rs. 649, and Rs. 799, and one can upgrade or downgrade to a plan anytime.
Some Netflix spokesperson also revealed Variety that if Indians found these discounts convenient and shows their interest, we will roll it out to broad users. Let’s see When these discounts come for regular subscribers.
Well, you can see that these discounts are available only for long term plans, and for the short term plans (like the 1-month subscription), there isn’t any announcement yet.
