Apple Updates Managing Subscriptions from App Store. Apple App Store Update Finally came out. Although the update came out after a long gap, it brings a more simplified option. This option is about Managing Subscriptions in iOS.
Federico Viticci first spotted this update and tweets about it. He say it seems like Apple made some changes in iOS 12.1.4 and 12.2 Beta. The change is now you can manage your subscriptions right within the Apple App Store.
All you have to do is open your App Store App, Tap on your Profile and there you find a new option called Manage Subscriptions.
It is not basically a new feature. Earlier iOS people manages subscriptions by going to the below location in App Store.
Settings > iTunes & App Store > Tap on your Apple ID > Tap on View Apple ID > Sign In or Use Touch ID > Subscriptions
By looking at the popularity of this option now, Apple basically promote it to a position/location. It means now you can manage subscription with 3 taps.
The update is being released over the air, OTA, which means will soon available to all the iOS users.
Apple explains that subscriptions are free or paid services that some apps requires from you. It renews automatically whereas not end automatically while you not cancel it. Some subscriptions that renews automatically in iOS are Apple Music, Apple News, Spotify etc.
