Back on October last year, Airtel introduces Airtel TV App which is an OTT service that gives Airtel user the facility to access Live TV Channels, TV Shows and Movies. The app contains a mix of free and premium content. To get access to premium content one must have to pay the subscription fee.
Now, with the launch of Airtel XStream Box and XStream Stick, the company also rebrand Airtel TV with a new name. Now, They call Airtel TV the Airtel XStream. Although the company rebrand the name, however, the functions remain unchanged. It still contain Live TV, Movies, and TV Shows. Airtel XStream right now contains more than 10,000 movies and TV Shows. Also it has more than 350 Live TV Channels.
How to access Airtel XStream Content?
If you owns an Airtel Mobile Number then you could access Airtel XStream Content. However, the content access restriction depends on the subscription you have. As I told you earlier, some contents are premium and only premium subscribers able to access such content. You can identify a premium content by noticing a premium tag on the title of the content.
To watch either of the premium or free content, you first have to register yourself in the app. Now, To register in the app, all you have to do is click on any of the content and the app ask you to feed your Airtel Mobile Number. Once you feed the number, the app sends an OTP to cross verify the number. Once you feed the OTP, you successfully register yourself in the Airtel XStream.
Now, If you are thinking to take the premium subscription of Airtel XStream, let me tell you that if you have recharged your Airtel Prepaid number with Rs. 199 or above plan, then you automatically have the premium subscription of Airtel XStream.
Talking about any Postpaid, Broadband, or DTH users, they have Airtel XStream Premium subscription for free.
