One day ago, We came to know about Messenger Rooms (A Virtual Space to Start a Video Chat with upto 50 persons at a time). While there are different ways to start Messenger Rooms, Now, we able to see How we can start it via WhatsApp.
In the latest blog post shared by WABetaInfo guys, they revealed WhatsApp Beta for Android 2.20.139 had added shortcuts at two places to start Messenger Rooms. The first shortcut, you can find it in the Attachment section, and the second one is in the Calls Tab. In the screenshot below, you can see how it looks like.
Once the user taps on any of these two shortcuts, WhatsApp notifies them about Continuing to Messenger to create a Room. Also, there is one crucial thing we find is Messenger’s encryption and privacy controls protect messenger Rooms, but Messenger Rooms are not end-to-end encrypted.
