Spotify could launch in India this January may be on 31st January. Two month ago we told you Spotify is all set to launch in India under 6 months. Even they recruit 300 Indians for the headquarter they recently purchase in Mumbai. Now, a report from Variety says, Spotify officials organises a party at the Mumbai Headquarter on January 31. Moroever, recently Spotify able to shake hands with T-Series. So, we expect that this could be the day for Spotify launch in India.
Spotify also tries to partners with Sony, Universal, and Warner but they skip to partner with the company. Although these three don’t have so many content specific to India. In past Spotify also want to acquire Saavn and Gaana app but not able to crack the deal.
Talking about the trial access we believe the app will give user less days of trial access. We expect it over a month or something. On the other hand their opponents Jio Saavn, Gaana, Google Play Music give more days of Trial access in compare to Spotify.
Not just trial access, there are several other spectacles Spotify have to crack so as to become the premium online music streaming service in India. Take Internet connectivity for example, In India still most users don’t have broadband connectivity. They rely on 4G or 3G network connection for Internet streaming.
However, History says, with the above mention obstacles Spotify able to became the premium music streaming services in several countries.
