From Today on, Instagram Direct Supports GIF File type. So, now you can send a short visual type story message using this cool file type to your friends. The Stories section of this platform already supports this file type as it rolls out earlier this year.
Now, When you want to send or express your feeling via Instagram Direct, you can see a GIF button down there. The box in which you type a message now have a cool GIF button too. Once you tap on the button a list of trending GIFs pops up. Tapping on any GIF send it to a particular account. Moreover, if you don’t like any of the GIFs that instantly pops up while you tap on the GIF button there is another way to send the appropriate one. Once you tap on the GIF button a search box is also available there, you can type your own custom keywords to see all the trending GIFs for that keyword. Simple isn’t it?
In fact, Instagram Officials reveals a cool way to find random GIFs. They say typing “Random” in the search box will bring random GIFs for us.
GIFs are however still now available as to share it on the feed. Let’s see when does Instagram bring the support of GIF file type in its feed section.
