- Open Instagram App
First, Open up your Instagram App, then switch over the Instagram Direct Section.
- Tap on Home Icon
Click on the Home Icon in the lower left corner of your screen.
- Tap on Paper Plane Icon
Then, Click on the paper plane icon at the top right corner of your screen.
- Select a Contact List
Now, you are finally in the Instagram Direct Page. Here, you see a list of contacts if you have earlier made some conversations. Otherwise, you can search one via the search box.
- Tap and Hold the Mic Icon
Now, Once you select a contact whom you want to send a voice message. Tap and Hold the Mic Icon which is present at the message type box in the screen below. Then, record your voice message.
- Send the Message
If you are sure that the message you record is an error, then you can send it by tapping on the send button. However, if you are not sure, then slide the message you record to the leftmost trash icon. This action deletes your message.
