HMD Global Launches Nokia 106 in Russia. Five years ago, Back in 2013, Nokia Launches a feature phone called Nokia 103. Now, Nokia rebrands it and again launch it by the Name Nokia 106. However, this time to it is a feature phone that has the Nokia Popular game Snake.

HMD Global right now not officially confirms about its Global availability. However, it is launched in Russia at a Russian price of RUB 1,590. If you convert this price to INR then it is INR 1,700. The Phone claims a standby time of 21 days, however, talk time of 15 hours roughly. Charging is supported via a Micro USB Charger so, you don’t have a compatibility issue nowadays while you want to charge this tiny device. With a polycarbonate body and dark grey, matte finishing makes this phone looks stunning.

The display size is 1.8″ and you can grab it in full easily in your hand. This small tool can hold up to 2000 contacts and 500 text messages at a time. This is dual SIM Machine to fulfill your calling backup needs. A removable 800mAh battery pre-packs with it. The network it supports, however, is GSM 900/1800.

Because HMD global can’t pop any notification about its launching in India, hence we can’t promise any news about it right now. Let see whether this new pocket gadget will come to India or not.

  1. Thank you for the article. I recently purchased a Nokia 106 phone in July 2021. Unfortunately I have not been able to find a service provider in the US, even the ones claiming to support GSM connectivity. Do you have any insight on that? Thanks in advance for responding.
