Google Playstore Now Remove Apps that require SMS and Call Logs. This happens with the latest policy change of Google Playstore. So, In a week or something Google removes those apps from Google playstore that require SMS and Call logs access for installation. Google leaves only those apps whose requires SMS and Call logs because of their core functionality.
If you notice that Trai DND app also requires such permissions from you however, Google will not remove that app from Playstore because these are its core functionality. In a recent blog post, Paul Bankhead, Product management of Google play says they secure the sensitive data of users very seriously.
Note that this happens with Google Playstore only, if we talk about Apple App store, they were more cautious about unrestricted access.
Now, talking about these apps which ask you to access your SMS and Call logs in Google Playstore, Google notifies them by email. Moreover, they give 90 days of period to configure there apps again.
