Google Photos is one of the best photo storing warehouse on the web, and why isn’t it as it gives us unlimited storage not just for photos but also for the videos. Well, there is a condition, of course, that is the photo size doesn’t exceed 75 MB or 100MP, and the video size doesn’t exceed 10GB. Also, you have to take care of the different file types that are supported by Google Photos. You can read about these file types here.
Now, Coming to the point, Google has bought a new feature called Video Preview in Google Photos that helps you to preview a video for a while without even have to play it. Video Preview in Google photos is available only for Android users, and iOS users have to wait for a while. Of course, this feature is available on Google Photos Web version and you can see it in action just by hovering your pointer over any video in Google Photos.
One more thing this feature works on both the local as well as the videos present on the cloud. Last but not the least to avail this feature make sure you are using Google Photos Version 4.20 otherwise you have to update the app first by navigating to Google Play.
Google Photos is a great app, and I suggest everybody use it because it takes care of all your photos and videos and reduces the chance of losing any.
