Google Messages For Web Gets GIF Integration

Google Messages for Web gets GIF Integration in its Latest Update. The update is currently rolling out. Google Messages is an official texting (which includes SMS, MMS, and RCS i.e. Rich Communication Service) application made by Google. The app helps you send group text along with several other options like GIFS, Emojis, Stickers, Audio or Video.

There are several features which makes this app way more cooler than the inbuilt message app present in our phone. Some of them are as follows.

  • Google Messages Gives you the Facility to Receive Messages only from the contacts you save in you phone.
  • You can block message which contains some custom keywords. Like you can block messages that contains “Discount” word present anywhere inside it.

Moreover, You can also access your Google Messages App on your desktop computer too. All you have to go to the address messages.android.com. Now, Open the Google messages app in your phone and then, click on the three vertical dots present at the top right corner of the app screen. There you find the option that says Messages for Web. Click on it and the click on QR code scanner. Now, via your Phone camera scan the QR code present on your desktop computer. This way you can access your phone message on Web.

GIF option is already present in the Phone App however, this option is now rolling out in the web version too. GIF data in this app however, is taken from various sites like, GIFY, Tenor, Dribble etc.
