Google Images Adds creator and credit metadata to all its Google Images. Finding out an Image Credit is somewhat difficult to a normal person. However, Many creators ask Google to show the Image credit details exclusively. Definitely, for data such as images, it must present at the front. From these two metadata that is now present at the front portion of an image, one can easily found the creator of that image. This way they can also give them proper credit.
This new enhancement now only give proper exposure to professional photographers but also helps a normal user to find one. Beside Creator and Credit Metadata, In upcoming weeks Google Image also shows you Copyright Notice Metadata.
Google complete this task with the help of CEPIC and IPTC. From this article point of view, you can think both of them as an authority who are setting standards for Images. However, if you want to research more about them you can visit the link I have tagged above.
Besides all of these, curious to know where these two data resides right now i.e. Creator and Credit Metadata. Once you search for an image and tap on an image in Google Images, there you find three vertical dots.
Clicking on these three vertical dots leads you to several options. One of these options says Image Credits. Now, once you click on this option you will able to see the Creator and Credits metadata.
