Those of you who have YouTube Premium Subscription must be aware that YouTube gives you the facility to download videos in 720p resolution. Well, 720p resolution is absolutely fine for smaller displays where we don’t require th. However, when we talk about larger displays like laptop and desktop, 720p resolution is not sufficient.
I know some of you might not resembles with my opinion but let me tell you these days there are several compression techniques out there that degrades the quality of a video even there are in 720p resolution. YouTube creators are especially using these techniques to lower the size of a video before uploading it to their channel.
So, In that case either you are downloading a video having 720p resolution but lack some details because of the compression applied on it before.
But don’t be upset because YouTube has now allowed their premium subscribers to download YouTube videos in 1080p resolution. Spotted first by Android Police team, this new feature is rolled out already, however, it may reach at you slowly.
Do note that the feature is available to both the Android and iOS devices.
