WhatsApp Changes the way of Group calling

The new year is coming and its time to leave something old behind and that why WhatsApp has announced they are going to end their support for some of the older operating systems. The latest FAQ page of whatapp.com updates the list of operating systems for which WhatsApp is going to end the support.

The FAQ page mentioned that from February 1, 2020, WhatsApp is going to end their support for Android versions 2.3.7, iOS version 8 and their older versions.

Back on July 1 this year, the company has already fetched the app from the Windows store and the very moment we are talking you can’t even find it on Windows store. However, users who have downloaded the app in the past and kept it safe on their Windows phone now not able to use it from December 31 this year.

List of Operating System on Which WhatsApp is still Running

  • Android Version 4.0.3 and later
  • iPhone Version 9 and later
  • KaiOS 2.5.1 and later on selected phones like JioPhone and JioPhone 2

Do note that you can use WhatsApp on one device at a time via one phone number. Here I am taking WhatsApp for Web as an exception because there the access method is different.
