In December last, Qualcomm introduces its first Mobile Chipset having built in 5G Modem (i.e. Snapdragon 765G 5G) and now today has upgraded the same chipset by announcing a successor of it. Yes I am talking about Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G chipset that fetures 5th generation Qualcomm AI Engine and Qualcomm Hexagon Processor. The Chipset is capable to power realistic gameplay and support unique cases like real-time translation, AI lens filters available on different social media apps, and 5G.
How Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G is different from 765G?
First thing first, What makes Snapdragon 768G completely unique from its predecessor Snapdragon 765G is the CPU Clock speed. Snapdragon 765G sports upto 2.4 GHz CPU Clock Speed, Snapdragon 768G on the other hand sports upto 2.8 GHz CPU Clock speed.
Beside that, Qualcomm claims the new Adreno 620 GPU in Snapdragon 768G has 15% faster graphics rendering compared to Snapdragon 765G. Also, the improved Kryo 475 CPU cores in Snapdragon 768G offers 15% performance improvement compared to Snapdragon 765G.
Snapdragon 768G chipset supports 120Hz displays that means the processor supports QHD+ displays at 60Hz and FHD+ displays at 120Hz. The Snapdragon 765G chipset, on the other hand, is supporting 60Hz diplays at QHD+ resolution.
Beside the above mentioned things, all the specifications of both the chipset are same. However, below, I have mentioned Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G and 765G specifications side for side for you to compare.
