JioMart is all set to become India’s Largest Online Grocery Market – Here is How?

JioMart is all set to bend the online groceries market in India and in the same journey the company has to compete with some of the existing big players such as Big Basket and Grofers. Some says JioMart is the extension of Reliance Retail that was founded back in 2006 and right now is the largest retailer in India by revenue. Reliance retail spreads over 6500 cities in India having 10000 physical stores serving 3.5 million customers each week. So, that is pretty big number for its competitors.

Last month Reliance partnered with the world’s largest social network Facebook in order to boost JioMart via Facebook owned WhatsApp. In India, other online grocery stores not have the same backup from behind like JioMart. So, it seems like JioMart is all set to bend the online grocery market in India. However, in my opinion they must have to maintain minimum pricing for items they are selling in comparision to neighbourhood sellers. Let see what happens next.
