iOS users who are eagerly waiting for dark mode on Instagram here is a good piece of news for you. Instagram has brought Dark Mode for devices supporting iOS 13. That’s means if you are using Instagram on any of the iOS 13 devices, you could now enjoy dark mode on the app.
Well, Right now, the dark mode on Instagram is available for iOS 13 users only, and it is not system independent. That means to enable dark mode on Instagram; you have to enable the native dark mode option present in your iOS 13 device.
If you don’t know how to enable dark mode in iOS 13, here is how you can do it.
First, power up your iOS device and navigate to Settings > Display and Brightness, then choose the dark option that sits inside the appearance menu. At the same location, you could also see an automatic option. If you enable the automatic option, the dark mode in your device turned on depending on the timezone you have set for your device.
So, this is how you can enable dark mode both on iOS 13 and Instagram.
As I mentioned above, Right now, Dark Mode in Instagram is available only for iOS 13 users. Let see when it will become available for Android users too.
Also, do note that Instagram isn’t the first app by Facebook that has got the support of Dark Mode. Facebook Messenger already owns this feature, which was rolled out in April this year. Also, from different sources, we learned Facebook working on Dark Mode for both the WhatsApp and the original Facebook app. However, we are not sure when both of these apps provoke dark mode option.
