Amazon Prime Free One Day Shipping model is Under Development for Prime users. Right now, Amazon Prime users availing Free-Two-Day-Shipping. Amazon rolls out this service a decade ago when Amazon Prime came into existence. That time this Two-Day-Shipping-Service grabs the attention of many e-Commerce Consumer. Now, It seems like Amazon repeating the same process after a decade. On Thursday Amazon Chief Financial officer Brian Olsavsky announce about this new service. He reveals in upcoming days the company is going to invest $800 million on this new model. This will not just improve the shipping speed of a product, but also enhance the excitement to buy a product from Amazon. He also added, Free One Day Shipping model will replace the existing free two day shipping model.
Amazon Prime not just offer the free shipping service but packs with other great services like Online TV Series, Movies, and Music Streaming. In India, Amazon Prime comes at a monthly subscription of Rs. 129 whereas Rs. 999 as the yearly one.
We know Amazon as a great e-Commerce market but its popularity is not less in online video streaming market too. Right now, It is giving competition to some of the great players in online video streaming market like Netflix in India. Amazon also competes with music streaming services like Spotify, YouTube Music etc. via its Amazon Prime Music service. In India, Some of his rival in e-Commerce market are Flipkart, Snapdeal, PayTm Mall etc. However, none of them are shipping a product under a day for free. So, When this new service attaches with Amazon Prime it will give tough competition to all these different services.
Now, If you combine all these together, you see Amazon providing all these services to you by charging Rs. 129 a month or Rs. 999 a year. However, When you opt any other service than Amazon Prime you haven’t such variety available in such a low cost.
Right now, we don’t know the exact date of When this Free-One-Day-Shipping model starts running. However, we do know that Amazon starts building this service in second quarter of this year.
