Online Video on Demand website Zee5 looking forward to rolling out mobile-only plan in India. The trend to watch TV Shows and Movies online is at its peak after Jio revolutionizing the Internet Data cost in India. The result is that it gives a boost to online on-demand video websites like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Zee5, and many more.
In India, if you analyze more thoroughly, you came to know that people love to watch videos on portable devices like smartphones and Tablets.
Looking at which back in March this year, Netflix introduced mobile-only Plan in India that comes at the subscription cost of Rs. 250 per month.
Now, in a recent interview with PTI, Zee5 chief executive Tarun Katial reveals Zee5 is looking forward to introducing a mobile-only plan. However, he doesn’t reveal the subscription charge for this plan.
Launched last year, Zee5 able to acquire around 61 million monthly active users, whereas more than 70 million users have downloaded the app till March 2019.
Zee5 have a plethora of packs that range in different languages. Its monthly subscription starts at Rs. 99 whereas its half-yearly and yearly subscription costs Rs. 599 and Rs. 999 respectively.
At the time of writing this article, Zee5 is giving a 40% discount on all its subscription plan that makes monthly subscription cost Rs 59 and the yearly one Rs 599 only. Zee5 have some vast collection of TV Shows and Movies, mainly the Tamil and Telugu one. Anyways if you opt to subscribe for Zee5, this is the best time to grab the 40% discount.
