Qualcomm has launched its first smartphone titled Smartphone for Snapdragon Insiders.
We know Qualcomm as the leading Chipmaker.
Then, why it is manufacturing a smartphone?
Well, this March, the company launched the Snapdragon Insider Program.
The program helps users to give feedback about the company’s products.
In four months of its launch, 1.6 million users have joined the program so far.
Celebrating the success of the same program, Qualcomm launched its first smartphone.
While Qualcomm has launched the smartphone, ASUS helps them to produce and market it.
This high-end premium smartphone costs Rs. 1,11,990 ($1500).

Qualcomm’s First Smartphone For Snapdragon Insiders Specifications
As I told you above, ASUS helps to create the smartphone.
Hence, while creating it, they take inspiration from their own ZenFone 8 and ROG Phone 5.
Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 888 5G Chipset is powering the smartphone. For better graphics rendering, it has Qualcomm Adreno 660 GPU.
It has 16GB of LPDDR5 memory and 512GB of storage.
The leading display manufacturer “Samsung” has built its 6.78 inches AMOLED display.
The maximum display brightness is 1200 nits with a refresh rate of 144Hz.
Talking about its camera module, it has a 24MP In-display selfie camera.
Also, it has a triple rear camera setup having the primary one of 64 MP. The other two are 12 MP ultrawide and 8 MP telephoto lenses with 3X Optical Zoom.
The phone is capable of shooting 8K videos at 30fps.
For better image processing, it has Qualcomm Spectra 580 ISP.
It is a 5G smartphone having sub-6 GHz connectivity with up to 7.5 Gbps downlink and 3 Gbps uplink.
Talking about the connectivity, it sports WiFi 6/6E that has a speed up to 3.6 Gbps.
It is the first smartphone to have Snapdragon Sound Certification.
It provides high-resolution 24-bit audio at 96 kHz.
Talking about its battery capacity, it has 4000 mAh of battery that supports Quick Charge 5.0.
As per the company, the battery can charge to 70% in 30 minutes. And in an hour it can charge to 100%.
The phone is running on stock Android 11 that get security updates for four years.
The smartphone box also contains a wireless earbud, USB Type-C to USB Type-A and USB Type-C to USB Type-C cables. The package also has a 65-watt charger and a bumper case. The wireless earbud has an active noise cancellation feature.

Availability
Starting next month, the phone will be available in the US, UK, South Korea, and Japan.

The smartphone has several great features.
It has one of the best processors available in the market right now.
