Facebook and Qualcomm together will soon bring High-Speed Internet Connection. Soon, Internet users who are in Urban areas can get high-speed internet connectivity. According to a blog post by Qualcomm, Qualcomm and Facebook will work together on high-speed internet connectivity. Let us tell you that Qualcomm will integrate the QCA6438 and QCA6428 family’s pre-802.11ay chipsets into Facebook’s Terragraph technology. Qualcomm and Facebook will create a multi-node wireless system that will depend on the 60Hz technology.
This technology would be cheaper than the internet connection which a user gets through fiber optics. Through this, the consumers who live in the urban area will be able to enjoy the high-speed broadband connection service easily.
Both companies say that its trial will start from mid-2019. However, the company doesn’t give any information about where the trial will start.

Let us tell you that Facebook’s Terragraph technology supports broadband connection via a wireless medium. Terragraph technology relies on the pre-802.11ay standard. Qualcomm will further enhance this technology through its chipsets and software. The range of devices in which relies on Terragraph technology will be 33 to 100 feet. Moreover, the user will get a transmission rate of 20 to 30 Gbps.

The Vice President of Facebook’s Connectivity Division says that through this technology, we want to provide high-speed internet connections for people living in the urban area.
