Last March, Disney Plus increased the price of its Hotstar VIP and Premium plan. Now, almost after a year, Disney Plus is again increasing the price of its Hotstar VIP Plan.
At the time of writing this article, Disney Charges Rs. 399 for one year of Disney+ Hotstar VIP Plan Subscription. Some user reports the same charge has now been increased to Rs. 499 or Rs. 599 as shown in the tweet below.
We reached Disney Plus Team to clarify the pricing and they said to us “The Price of Disney Plus Hotstar VIP is revised. Please go to the payment page on your app to check out the new price. For more support head over to the Disney Plus Hotstar Help Desk“.
However, as we visited their help desk page, the price was not updated there at the time of writing this article. We asked the Disney Plus officials about the same and they said we are in the process of rolling out the new prices and it will be completed soon. You can choose the lower price if it’s available to you.

About the Price Hike, when we asked the Disney Plus Team, they didn’t responded on it. However, we suspect, the price hike is due to the upcoming new titles announced on Disney Plus.
