Let me tell you that, A log is a temporary file which the phone stores in its memory for some time. This file is especially useful for the data recovery processes. In the blog, it is also told that the receiver will be able to easily read the messages sent by the sender even the sender delete the message from their own phone. The blog said, “We found that messages are present in the notification system of the Android Operating System. It means that if you reach the notification record then you can read the deleted messages”.

How to actually recover the deleted Messages?
- First, you have to download a third-party application from the Play store called “Notification history”.
- When you download the Application, you have to search the message in the Android Notification Log.
- To access the Android notification log tap and hold the home screen for a long time. After this, Open Widgets> Activities> Settings> Notification log.
- Now, you can easily access the system notifications log.
- Similarly, it is possible to access the notification log through the Settings widget in stock Android.
Note: You will be able to read only the first 100 characters of the deleted message. This procedure only works on the handset running Android version 7.0 and later. You can retrieve only the text. If you were sent a media file it will not be accessible.
Remember that after coming of the new ‘Delete for Everyone’ feature, the user will be able to not only delete any sent message from his phone but also be able to delete the message from the person receiving the messages.
