Do you know that you can Check Bluetooth device battery percentage via Windows 10? Well Windows 10 have this feature now, and in this article, we are going to talk about the same.
Suppose you have connected a Bluetooth Mouse with your Windows 10 device and it doesn’t give you any response. May be its battery is down, and to check, earlier you have to first replace its battery then further troubleshoot the issue. However, now you can check whether its battery is low or not in your Windows 10 OS itself.
Checking out battery percentage of some external Bluetooth device, Windows 10 roll out this feature in Windows 10 October Update 2018.
Note: This feature works only on those external Bluetooth devices that supports showing battery percentage on a GUI machine.
Below I provide you a Screenshot. As you can see, Although, I have connected 2 Bluetooth mouse with my Windows 10 Machine, but one is actually showing the battery percentage. The Mouse which is not showing the Battery percentage is an older one. Moreover, it doesn’t have this new Windows 10 Feature inbuilt in it.

Checking Battery percentage of External Bluetooth device in Windows 10 is quite easy. All you have to do is type Bluetooth and Other devices in your Windows 10 Cortana search bar and press enter.
That’s it your OS automatically fetch the battery percentage right next to your external Bluetooth device name.
