Disney Pixar and Marvel Movies starts available in 4K on Google Play. This new update spotted first by 9to5Google Team, and they say some of the recent movies like Avengers Infinity War, Captain Marvel, Black Panther, Solo: A Star Wars Story are now available in 4K resolution in Google Play.
Well, In India, when I navigate to Google Play, I still find the availability of these movies in HD quality.
9to5Google Team has shared a screenshot that says you can stream these 4K movies on Chromecast Ultra and 4K TVs. However, if your device doesn’t support 4K, it automatically streams these contents in either High Definition or Standard Definition quality.
Do note that if you already purchased content from any of the production house mentioned above, then you don’t have to spend a penny to get the 4K version. That’s because last year Google announce to give the 4K version for free to those users who already purchased the SD or HD one.
Right now, you may find some limitation on the collection of movies in 4K on Google Play, but Google assures to roll out more in the coming months.
