PayTm Launches its First Credit Card Service called PayTm First Card

The One97 subsidiary, PayTm launches its first credit card service called PayTm First Card, today. Well, What makes this credit card so unique is, everytime you transact via this card, you’ll get 1% of the transaction as a Cashback. Moreover, That cashback will credit to your PayTm account at month’s end.

According to PayTm, With this card one will have an another way to do cashless payments along with availing different benefits. For example, If you spend at least Rs. 10,000 (in under 4 months of card issuance) then, you will get promo codes of worth Rs. 10,000. These Promo Codes are distributed over different categories. You could check in detail about these categories from here.

PayTm says they will send the promo codes under 30 days via email by One97.

One more thing to mention here is, When you apply the promo code you will receive certain cashback. And, you can find the cashback in you PayTm Wallet.

PayTm First Card is not like the debit card service which PayTm rolls out earlier that limits only in India. This new credit card is accepted Internationally. Well, We should be Thankful to its Partner Citi which make this possible.

Well, Those of you who look forward to know How to apply for this card, let me tell you that, you could do the same via the PayTm App. If you have not installed the PayTm app yet, then, you could via this link. iOS users could install it via this link.

For now, we know that user could get the PayTm First Card via PayTm app. However, it seems like PayTm hasn’t updated any link for it in the app. Wait for it, Once they will I will update it here.

However, do note that PayTm First Card takes a service charge of Rs. 500 per year. But, the company says, they will waive off this service charge if your yearly expenditure via this card crosses Rs. 50,000.

It seems like via this card PayTm rivals Apple Card that is giving similar 1% daily cash when purchase via its titanium credit card. Do note that Apple rolls out Apple card in March this year in United States. They launch this card in collaboration with Goldman Sachs and Mastercard.
