As of May 21, 2019, Its version is 8.5 and is the only Android Browser that sports Tor Project. Those of you who don’t know What Tor Project is? With this browser, one can certain that their browsing experience is real private and won’t have to worry about any tracking and surveillance. This 41 MB App sports several Privacy features like Block Third Party Trackers, Isolate your Device Fingerprint and several other features.
By Default, Tor has chosen DuckDuckGo as your default search engine. Of course you can change it by choosing in between several search engines like Google, Bing, Amazon.com and more. You can find this option in the settings>search section. At the same place, you also have the option to enable search suggestions and search history.
The browser has two built in Add-Ons. The first one is HTTPS Everywhere, that helps you to surf the web by default over HTTPS connection. That means, you will not able to access those sites who haven’t configure HTTPS until you disable this addon. The other Add-On you find is No-Script. It helps the browser to block external script while loading a web page. This insure you are under Maximum protection as Third Party personnel not able to track you.
A last but not the least, super simple but more advanced feature called Security Settings is also present in the browser. Here you could choose your online security level by tuning the bar ranging from Standard, Safer, to Safest.
