Now Merchants able to sell their Products on Google for free

While the Global Pandemic COVID-19 has taken the whole world in its custody, the Growth of the retail sector is decreasing day by day as most of the physical stores have already been shut down in most of the countries. To overcome this challenge, Google comes forward to help merchants by allowing them to sell on Google for free.

In a blog post written by Bill Ready (President, Commerce, Google) said starting next week, search results on the Google Shopping tab is going to list products from merchants for free. Do note that Google gets hundreds of millions of shopping searches to query each day. Hence, this new initiative is going to help merchants to connect with each of these queries via Google Shopping Tab.

How to sell on Google for Free?

Users who are already using the Merchant Center and Shopping Ads may able to list their products on Google Shopping tab before the end of the month. All they need is to open the Google Merchant Center and then select Growth and then Manage Programs in the left Navigation menu and then select the surfaces across Google program card. They can also add products to their product feed to make even more products discoverable in the free listings.

New users who wanted to join this program can do so while signing up for the Merchant Center. However, do note that new users able to list their products in the coming weeks and months.

Firstly going to be available for US Merchants

One more thing I would like to mention here is, this new facility is going to be available to US users at first before the end of April. The rest part of the world is going to get this new facility before the end of the year.

Merchants will receive their payments via Paypal

To help merchant receive their payments for selling the product, Google has partnered with Paypal. Also, to allow more and more merchants to list their product on Google Shopping tab, Google already had partnered with Shopify, WooCommerce, and BigCommerce.
